First stress test: Pass 6 millions of records from a Flat File, to CSV file. 
In this test (with SSIS), the first run was sufficient to document and compare because the times were reasonable, without having to modify the design and SETTINGS to reduce the execution time.

The resources used are anecdotal, today, Any production environment has enough processing power for current and future requirements.
